The film used scenes shot by Chingiz Mustafayev, Azerbaijani National Hero.

 

Working Group of Azerbaijani State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons has prepared a film “Khojali Tragedy” in connection of 16th anniversary of Khojali genocide. The movie is prepared both in Azerbaijani and English. The commission informed ANS PRESS that the film used archival materials, programs prepared by journalist Nadejda Ismayilova in March, 1992 as well as scenes shot by Azerbaijani National Hero Chingiz Mustafayev. “Khojali Tragedy” was sounded in dub studio of “Ictimai” TV (Public TV). State Commission thanks journalist Nadejda Ismayilova, ANS Group of Companies and “Ictimai” TV for the support in preparation of the film.
