The book was dedicated to women and children slain as well as lost during Khojaly genocide.

Book entitled “Khojalidan gelen var” (There is one coming from Khojaly), published with the initiative of “Azerbaijan Way” political movement regarding the 16th anniversary of Khojaly tragedy, was presented today. During the presentation it was told the book prepared by Sariyya Muslumqizi, is consisted of two parts. The first part of the book entitled “Bizi yashadan hesretdir” (Regret keeps us alive) was dedicated to about 70 women slain and lost during Khojaly genocide. Tragic death scenes of these women were reflected in the book. The second part deals with children’s slay before their parents and their lost.

During his speech in the presentation ceremony, Qasim Hajiyev, candidate of history science, said the book is of more importance to draw conclusion from what happened to Azerbaijani people and deliver truth to the international community. Sariyya Muslumqizi, author of the book, said that publication of the book immortalized Khojaly horror once again. She said that she was always inside the tragedy and it was difficult to write what was felt. /ANS PRESS/
