Tanzila Rustamkhanli: "ATWU has prepared a plan of measures for recognition of Khojaly genocide in Turkey and Europe in 2008"
Azeri-Turkish
Women Union (ATWU) has completed preparations for the 16th anniversary
of Khojaly genocide. ATWU will inform about Khojaly genocide in Turkey
and Europe on high level, ATWU’s chairman Tanzila Rustamkhanli told ANS
Press. She said that Khojaly tragedy would be actively commemorated as
it was in previous years. According to Tanzila Rustamkhanly, ATWU has
prepared a plan of measures for recognition of Khojaly genocide in
Turkey and Europe this year. We will hold conferences and meetings in
the big cities of Turkey. We will deliver lectures on Khojaly genocide
and Armenian vandalism at different universities. Meanwhile our
European representative works hard on the issue. ATWU’s European
representative Sharifa Ozdamir will hold a march and meeting in
Brussels together with Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Belgium. Sanction has
already been received in this regard as well. Azerbaijanis residing in
different parts of Europe will join the meeting. /ANS PRESS/
